Former Oregon Ducks Thrower Sam Crouser Punches Ticket to World Championships in JavelinPublished by The Oregonian on August 1, 2015 Sam Crouser is going to Beijing. The former University of Oregon and Gresham High School standout secured his spot on Team USA for the World Outdoor Track & Field Championships by throwing a personal-best 83.33 meters (273 feet, 4 inches) in the javelin at the Concordia Throws Center on Saturday.
