Team Predictions - Men's Competition - NCAA D1 Outdoor Championships 2015
Published by
The team competition may turn out this way: 1. Oregon 78 2. Florida 70 3. Arkansas 61 4. Texas A&M 45 A lot of this will depend on Oregon's ability to score a lot of points in the 5000m (22 by Edward Cheserek, Eric Jenkins, Will Geoghegan, and Jake Leingang) with a few decent scoring positions in the 1500m (Johnny Gregorek, Blake Haney, and Daniel Winn), 110m hurdles (Johnathan Cabral), and 400m (Marcus Chambers). A big surprise would be a score by freshman Nate Moore in the triple jump. Oregon will likely be behind Florida going into the 5000m. Florida will likely be in the lead due to expected wins by the Florida 4x100m relay, Dedric Dukes in the 200m, and Marquis Goodwin in the triple jump and a likely win by the 4x400m relay if the coaches they feel they need to win that to win the meet. They will also likely score well 400m (Najee Glass) and 400m hurdles (Eric Futch) and may score decently in the 3000m steeplechase (Mark Parrish) and 800m (Andres Arroyo).
