The Oregon Ducks departed Wednesday for College Station, Texas and the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships without highly-ranked women’s distance runner Alex Kosinski.

Kosinski, who had the NCAA Division I level’s second-best indoor time in the 5,000 meters and was fifth-ranked in the 3,000, withdrew from the meet because of injury, possibly with a stress fracture in her back.
