These are heady times for heptathlete Brianne Theisen.

The Humboldt native and University of Oregon senior will try for her third NCAA championship next month as well as a spot on the Canadian Olympic team for the London Games.

Fresh off a solid performance at the Pac-12 championship May 6, when she surpassed the Olympic qualifying standard and scored 6,353 points to establish a new conference record, Theisen seems to be hitting her stride at the right time.
